Brain capital, defined as brain health and brain skills, begins with awareness. Guided by this understanding, Lyrics ’N Leadership Institute for Brain Health and Brainolicious Adventures successfully established Brain Capital Awareness Months in three cities.
- The city of Avondale, Arizona, in recognition of World Brain Day.
- The city of Buckeye, Arizona, currently the fastest growing city in the United States.
- The city of Phoenix, Arizona, the sixth largest city in the nation.
In addition, we supported the city of Tolleson, Arizona in establishing its Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. During this initiative, we had the opportunity to speak on the importance of brain health as the city works toward its goal of becoming a blue zone community.
It was an honor to help establish these awareness proclamations and to support cities in cultivating more brain healthy environments for their residents.
